PCI Approved Data Centre

Total Web Solutions has now completed the construction of its new purpose built data centre to house its Ecommerce and other technical infrastructure. Complete with AEG Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Redundant Air Conditioning and External Backup Generator. The Data Centre houses a number of racks to compliment its existing infrastructure. Chief Technical Officer Paul Fallon said “We have been engaged in extensive planning for well over a year now and to see the project completed within timescale and on budget demonstrates the Companies skill set and our commitment to reinvest
in the latest technologies.

The Data Centre which now houses the Ecommerce network, which is used to offer card processing facilities to its extensive customer base has been vetted and approved by ECSC Limited in the companies latest PCI Audit. The Data Centre met the stringent criteria for a secure cardholder environment for Level 1 Payment Services Providers. Access, control and monitoring were deemed
to have met the stringent PCI security standards by the auditors who had expressed concern over the shared data centre facilities we previously occupied.

The new Data Centre environment allows Total Web Solutions to consolidate some of its diverse technical resources but also improves scalability and redundancy. It now has the capability to expand its server base and service offerings without the restriction of a shared data centre. It also enables Total Web Solutions to plan more effectively by having fewer suppliers to deal with for infrastructure modifications. Chief Executive Officer Miesha Vukasinovic said “Our ability to react to customer demand has been given a significant boost. We now have the capability to expand our Managed Server portfolio
